For several months now I’ve been seriously sniffing around the prospect of launching my own BlockChain for a service I run, called TradeJolt.com. lt occurred to me that others might be interested in seeing the approach I’m taking, the problems that I run into, and the progress I make.
Please note: this is not intended as an expert “How to expertly run an Avalanche Subnet”. To the contrary. I am a pretty decent web2 / java/ javascript /python / php versed programmer, with zero experience in programming for web3 / aka crypto blockchains.
Will I succeed. I damn well hope so. How long will it take? I dunno. I can only devote about 8 to 10 hours a week to the project. So we’ll see.
I’ll try to share with the reader my doubts / fears / uncertainties and triumphs as I go through this process. If you want to jump in with critiques or suggestions, please do so.
Hopefully, I’ll see you on the other side…
